Director of Construction

Chad Peterson

With more than 30 years of experience in custom home construction and remodeling, Chad brings a rare combination of hands-on craftsmanship, technical expertise, and trusted leadership. He has worked in nearly every facet of residential construction—from framing complex custom homes to owning a construction company and leading luxury remodeling projects—giving him a clear understanding of what it takes to deliver exceptional results.

Clients value Chad for his straightforward communication, practical problem-solving, and strong commitment to doing what’s right. He believes trust is earned through honesty, accountability, and sound judgment. His philosophy is simple: if he wouldn’t do it in his own home, he won’t recommend it for yours.

What Chad enjoys most is helping clients transform the homes they love into spaces that better reflect the way they live. Whether he is navigating a complex renovation or refining the smallest detail, he takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience from start to finish.

Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons—camping, hiking, biking, snowboarding, fishing, or cheering from the sidelines. He brings the same dedication and commitment he values in family life to every client relationship and every project.

Greg Kraus, Assoc AIA

With nearly three decades of experience in architecture, design, and construction, Greg has built a reputation for creating homes where exceptional design and craftsmanship come together seamlessly. His passion for residential design began long before he earned his architecture degree from the University of Minnesota. It was sparked by childhood mornings spent watching This Old House and studying the details that make great homes timeless.

Having worked with several design-build firms across the Twin Cities, Greg understands that every successful project starts with listening. He takes the time to learn how clients live, what they value, and what they hope to achieve. Clients value Greg’s creativity, collaborative approach, and integrity. He has a unique ability to help clients envision possibilities they may not have considered while ensuring that every decision supports the home’s overall vision, functionality, and long-term value.

Professionally, Greg has earned numerous design awards and served as a judge for regional and national architecture competitions. He also served for several years as chair of the Residential Architecture Committee for the American Institute of Architecture (AIA-MN).

Outside of work, Greg enjoys traveling with his family, weight training, and spending many weekends cheering on his kids at sporting events and tournaments. The values that guide him at home—integrity, commitment, and showing up for others—also shape the way he leads projects and serves clients.
